OP is actually 40.

like

Are you sure you’re 35?

like

OP- you need to get laid. Hire a pro after the workout, smoke a blunt and go make some risky investments (assuming you have $ by now, maybe Bitcoin). Fuck MBA

like

Carnegie Mellon online, fuqua or darden exec weekends, McCombs if full time. High value. Do it.

like

Also want to switch jobs. Am a bundle of anxiety.

like

Just do it, I started when I was 32

like

I am actually 35. 😭😭I want to kill myself.

like

Dear god man don't you have anything fulfilling in your life outside of work?

like

@OP There's more to life friend--someone will always out do you at work.

like

Doesn't matter OP do a weekend mba at a good school. Might be easier financially. You might also meet your SO in the program :) I'm over 30 and going to apply next summer once I save enough dough for first quarters. Will take it from there later. Just apply and try to get an admit. Can worry about accepting or deferring the offer later. As the saying goes you'll regret things you did not do than things you did. In this case - applying and getting an admit.

like

So apply next year

Am already 30. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Plenty of 32 yr olds in MBA

I finished when I was 37, did it part time, go for it

Yes. I look 28 though. It's just hard because I messed up my apps a few years ago. I am going to go to the gym now and sweat out my tears.

🙄

Whatever Deloitte. It's not funny.

Do the financial analysis to make sure it has a 5 year payback. Then do it.

No. I am 35. And yes there is a work obsession issue. No SO. That's an issue as well.

I’ve been a data analyst for a little over a year for my current employer. I manage databases, input new information, solve issues utilizing root-cause analysis, and I maintain reports on a daily basis. The only thing I don’t do is work with coding such a SQL. I’m currently enrolled in Coursera Google Data Analytics Certification to learn more about SQL.
I want to get a job in data analytics that uses SQL. How do I show that I know SQL without having direct SQL related work experience?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.
