How do you get Epic training if you are not working at a place that offers it? I read that you have to work somewhere that has the training and software. I read having that can boost your income in the Healthcare industry.

Anyone here work as a internal travel RN for Memorial Hermann in Houston Texas? They said the position is for 3 months. What happens after? Do they contract to another unit? How does this works? Is this a great job?
I saw this townhouse in a prime location in my city for $350k (cheap for the area). The floors are all messed up though but the buyer said they’ll either lower the house price or give a credit for closing cost. There’s also a lot of nicks here and there (some locks missing from door, dents, scratches, stains, and some things are loose). But overall, the house’s architecture and design is so beautiful. Would it be worth it to get it and fix it up? Or find a newer house with less maintenance?

Moving to the city for a job and looking for a studio/1 bedroom under $3k. Thinking about Hunter’s Point in LIC because there are some newer/nicer apartments I saw on street easy. Any thoughts on LIC? My office (if we ever go in again) is on E 55th/3rd Ave.
Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!
I have zero interest in hearing about what goes on during my SO’s work day (also don’t have any interest in talking about my work BS to her). She’s quite the opposite. Anyone else in the same boat? How do you make it work?
How many of the good comedy scripts w/ budget $100K - $1M are going out to the union Production Co’s versus to freelance directors or to in-house options? I’m a comedy director who was super busy as a freelancer, now that I’ve signed with a prod. co. I’m barely seeing any work after months on the roster. Wondering if I should go back to freelance?

Hello Ladies! I am really excited that I found this app and this group because it is giving me some sort of hope to remain with in the Field. Long story short and I am looking to move Miami in August 22’ and I’m searching for any type of position similar to what I am doing now. Currently working as a backend Field Service Representative. I wish I could stay with the same company but the freedom of the opportunity outweighs my patience. Anyone know of any openings for a Life Insurance Company?

Hi! I’m moving to LA from Chicago, base 90k - no debt. I live in a 1BD rn and have been browsing the market in LA to get an idea of rent. I’m mainly looking west of DTLA (ktown, la brea, pico rob, etc)it’s seeming like a 1BD may be out of reach. I’m not looking to pay more than $1800/mo. Any suggestions on neighborhoods I should consider? I’d like to be near grocery, restaurants, and would need parking. I enjoy being outdoors and would look to go on hikes/runs in my free time if that helps. TIA!
All I want is a 2BR or large 1BR (900+ sq ft w office/nook) in an area with sidewalks and trees for under $3k. Willing to live a little further outside of the city. Was considering Studio City. What other pockets should I consider?

Anyone else here from Chicago? What do you miss about the city that I’ve been taking for granted my whole life?
So for those that lived in NY and moved to LA, what are your thoughts? What do you like, don't like, what do you miss? Are the people really that different?
I love how connected & convenient NY is. It always feels lively (bar covid) & it's easy to find something to do but I always wanted to give LA a shot, even if it's for a year. Nice weather year round, film industry, the beach, more space all seem like pros. Doesn't really feel like a city though. I imagine the lifestyle change is a big one.
Hi, do you know of any opening as a production manager making at least 120K? The environment where I'm currently working is getting more toxic than ever and they are expecting me to fill all the openings with the minimum wage. I've been in the same company for the last 7 years, but with all the pandemic still going on, nobody seems to understand that when you are short staffed is impossible to get the same results as when you are fully staffed. Any help or insights will be greatly appreciated.
