I officially think I’m done with production. Quite honestly, I never really liked it. I got into the biz after it’s golden age (as my mentors have described it) and it’s only been a stressful experience. I don’t mind the post part of it but this COVID experience has truly exposed to me that I do not get any enjoyment out of planning a shoot or trouble-shooting the day to day problems. It’s liberating to tell the truth. Now, what can I do next? I have about 5 years of production experience.

Have people with 1.5 YOE switched firms successfully? Not being challenged at my current job and struggling with figuring out where to start my job search. Feel like I’m under qualified because my current position is meh.

Quit my job and I kind of regret it. I loved the job itself but knew another year of dealing with an emotionally abusive and bigoted manager would do even more of a number on my mental health. Late 30s F w/ kids. No matter what I try to do I can’t seem to lose weight and/or build muscle. I have been strength training since January 3 times a week, getting 10k steps daily, drinking enough water (3 quarters of a gallon), getting 7 hours of sleep, and tracking my macros (initially reverse dieted to get my calories up high (2200) and then went into a deficit, at 1550 now. Carbs 45%, protein 30%, fat 25%. Is it just stress at this point? Blood work seems fine? Do I need more patience?
