Hey MBB fish,
I’m considering making the switch to MBB and wanted to understand what training and development look like at these firms. Came to consulting post b school and there’s been almost no support to learn the actual job and want to see if that’s unique to my firm or if you’re always expected to learn as you go.

I work in education based HR, and I don't particularly want to go to high on the totem pole, but to be more competitive (I didn't start in HR), what certs (if any) do people suggest in public school HR? We get professional development days off, and I'd like to figure out what's best for this industry?
Any suggestions from other Education based HR folks?

Hey FishBowl Friends, so I’m currently trying to break into tech sales/FinTech and I feel that due to my previous work history, I might not look like the ideal candidate on paper but I’m an extremely fast learner and very coachable. I’ve been a manger at a gym, got my degree in finance, worked as a client advisor at a top 3 auto dealer in the nation and now I’m a project manager at a solar company. I really want something that’s remote and steady, any recommendations on how to spruce myself up?

Hey fishes,

I currently work on SAP ABAP, 2.5YoE
I am a bit skeptical about the future growth and scope.

Based on my research i see most ABAPers with 5-7 YoE being paid around 12-17 lpa. (This is based on data from people i talked to in similar roles).

I'm a bit confused whether ABAP would be a good career option or should i try switching to Java Spring or Big data.

What are your views about ABAP opportunities compared to other tech stacks.

Hi! I’m trying to network within my firm without scaring off anyone. I’m extroverted, friendly, expressive, and outgoing. However, I notice folks at my office are nice but very reserved, matter-in-fact, and introverted.

I do my best not to talk about personal or sensitive subjects or chat someone’s ear off. However, I’m wondering if I need to tone down my outgoingness in order to be taken seriously and not be negatively perceived. Thoughts?
