Hi ZSers,
Last week my onboarding formalities for ZS Associates like recent degree marks sheet, address, PF details etc and physical address verification for BGC was completed.
My joining is next week. What formalities can I expect this week ? Will I get the laptop before joining or after joining ?
Officially this is incorrect you can sue them if you want to. I also get early release but received notice period amount as well. What I followed . I never asked for early release neither signed any paper which mentioned ZS is authorised to release me with no severance package. HR mentioned me that since they are releasing me early so they will pay the amount. I was not on PIP or COed
+1
You can send a notice via any advocate. This is not ethical/legal to release any employee without giving notice period salary. This can only happen, if an employee asked for the early release. If that's not the case, the organisation has to pay the salary for the notice period whether they want you to work or not that's a separate topic altogether.
Rising Star
HR would have covered their bases already
There is no way they can do it unless it is written in the offer letter or you at some point(mostly post you resigned) signed in anything or confirmed on a mail of any such thing. Firstly ask the HR to confirm this on mail and confront that this is nowhere mentioned in the offer letter neither did you ever agree to such a thing. If the HR doesn't reply or still persists on not giving you the F&F of complete notice period, then loop in the HRBP head of India or global along with your pod's principal and also attach the offer letter you had accepted which has your sign in it and confront them about it being mentioned anywhere in it. There is no other way for them once the HRBP head and your principal are looped in.
I was also released early but I did get all the money.
Dude you messed up!
You should have taken some time off and think through the process. They’re right you made the final decision.
Were you on PIP?

Were you on PIP ?
It doesn't matter whether an employee is on PIP or not, everyone is supposed to receive salary for the notice period. If company requires his/her services for the notice period, that's a company call but they have to pay the salary for that period.
Move on. something good with happen. Market is opening up with good offers.
Sorry but moving on is not an option when money is involved, that too, when the OP is entitled to every single penny of notice period. You cannot just let anyone roll over you.
