Can they deduct more salary than buyout can they deduct EL amount ? Can they deny relieve letter. I am ready for buyout but they are not agreeing to it I always thought we can buyout at our will Is there any clause in TCS which says we have to serve full notice period and buyout can be denied by them?

Daddy D is throwing around some pretty crazy referral bonuses right now. If I can hit four referrals, I’ll split evenly among all four + myself. Up to $10k per person and at least $2.5k per person. Put it in escrow and everything. So if you’re looking to change firms, a new opportunity, etc. DM me. Can easily negotiate a nice sign on bonus, and my offer should sweeten the pot.
Hello Fishes, I have two job offers in hand. Need for suggestion on which one is better to join considering work culture and other benefits. Offers are from SAP SDC and EY GDS with same salary benefits. Skillset- SAP EWM YOE- 12 Years
I have two offers - same comp: Big4 A - I used to work there so I have some network and connections. But it’s a specialized group in niche industry (good balance of provision and compliance) Big4 B - never worked there. It’s a provision only group specialized in tax accounting but no specific industries (probably will see everything) I value my network especially in the middle of the pandemic but I don’t really want to be confined in a niche industry. Provision > compliance. Any advise? TIA!
Hi Tcs fishes, Need one info from you guys . After joining TCS in C3A grade as Assistant Consultant . Can I give digital certificate examination and will my salary increase if I crack the exam
Do you consider a retention bonus as a counteroffer if you did not mention you have an offer from another company?
About to make move to independent (but growing/stable) shop. Any 🐠 been able to get equity as part of comp package? If yes, did you have to take a hit on base and/or bonus?
Going through a staffing agency for a staff augmentation role. Hypothetically, if the client pays the staffing agency $200/hr for this individual, what should be my takehome (pre-tax) hourly rate? 80% of my billing rate?
Fisher Phillips fish - anyone ever not hit hours (lateraled middle of the year) and still got a bonus?
Would you rather work for an older, more established company with lots of employees, average salary and a slow climb of the ladder to leadership? OR Would you rather work for a relatively new startup with 2000 employees, GREAT salary and quick career progression, but alot of learning because it’s a startup.? P.S. both companies are known across the globe.
What is the typical M&A integration manager comp for tech industry? 5YOE, M&A integration consulting background
With so many people reportedly leaving consulting, I’m wondering how common is it to leave for less TC? MBB comp $200k+ at 27. Do most people get increases above that or just go to jobs sitting at $150k but that “have better WLB”? *Not looking to include those that switch to industries with intentional disregard about comp (eg public sector, charity, teaching etc).
How adamant is ACN with taking back bonus $ if you leave the firm? I got $10k relocation bonus 10 months ago, have to pay it back if I leave before 12. 😭
For benchmarking I think it’d be helpful for all on here to see starting comp. (undergrad or MBA) at top consulting firms: Firm: Base salary: Total possible per. bonus: Profit share: 401K:
Anyone have insight on PriceMetrix by McKinsey? Is culture similar to McKinsey or fairly independent? Has anyone recruited with them?
Need advice: baby is 8 months. We started her in daycare at 6 months. Liked the daycare but concerned because not all caregivers were vaccinated. Liked daycare overall because we wanted to not manage anyone, socialization, etc. We got more nervous with Covid as daycare did not mandate after FDA approval and other mandates came out. We found a nanny share and informed the daycare we are pulling her out - the director calls me and says the remaining teachers have received the 1st dose. Cont.
Looking for some advice. Currently contributing 10% to 401k and maxing out Roth IRA, and remainder of savings (usually $800-$1200 per month) putting in a HYSA for a down payment on a house. Hoping to buy in 2-3 years once we (partner & I) have a sizable down payment. Should I continue to put all my non-retirement savings in an HYSA for a downpayment or should I also contribute to my brokerage and invest to grow wealth? (24yo, $85k)
Can we still do the certification exams from home without the external cameras (ie using built in camera on the laptop)?
Duke MBA to MBB - how likely?
Given the news of BB losing Ford as a client, not sure if I can make a case for holding my 1k shares for the long run. Anyone have any real bull thesis that’s not just rockets? I’m considering just dumping my BB into MGNI/DKNG to bolster my winners there
I have a potential client based in EU. What's the best way to go about billing an under $50k project? (Google says PayPal but sounds a little weird to me).

UrbanPiper, a Bangalore based SAAS company in food tech is hiring for the following roles. Anyone looking for an opportunity can reach out to me.
Livid & need to vent. Had a call with a client, I am the attorney that manages their cases. A male attorney was on the call with me as well. I try to explain something to client multiple times and he keeps cutting me off to explain his question again (even though I am answering the question but for the interruptions). Male attorney jumps in and explains exactly same of what I am saying, male client listens intently, no interruptions, then essentially ignores me the rest of the call. Raaaaage 🤬
When do you get to negotiate your start date with a big four accounting firm? Currently in the interview process with 3 firms. Is it usually stated within the contract after you get the offer or will I have options to pick from?
I’ve been a project manager (commercial interiors) for the past 15 years. There’s nowhere for me move up in the company & don’t want to necessarily stay in the same industry. Any suggestions on what industry I can pivot too? I have an Interior Design degree & was a realtor for a short time. I’m thinking on starting a design consulting business for homeowners/business owners looking to make improvements. Thanks I’m advance!
