I was exhausted so went to bed at about 5-6pm and then got jolted awake at 3 am by…..nothing? All I remember is a massive single full body twitch awake as if someone was physically shaking me awake and had given me one big shake. But no is here. I live alone. What causes this kind of thing? Has never happened to me before.

If you work at a big 4 … they normally put a waking up device chip inside your arm without you noticing … this is to improve productivity and utilisation …. Ultimately turns us into under paid slaves … We all have this issue

I’ve noticed that when I’m exhausted my sleep is exhausted as well, and it takes a few nights to get back to “waking up refreshed” sleeps

Honestly just sounds like you went to bed at an odd hour for yourself and your mind freaked out wondering if you over slept. Kinda like “omg I have to get to work!” Not realizing it’s only 3am.

My experience with sleep paralysis is you are awake and can’t move initially. This sounds more like you just were off cycle and didn’t know what time it was lol

I used to get this too when I worked at BKD, well FORVIS now. It went away as soon as I switched firms and had lower stress and slept more. It’s terrible and scared my wife horribly. I’d be screaming at something or throw my pillow across the room at something I thought was there.

Did someone close to you pass recently ? Could be supernatural ?!

From my own experience I would say that you are subconsciously thinking about work while you are sleeping and your brain is in a bit of a frenzy to get tasks and stuff done. You'll get used to it.

Going to bed for the night at 6pm is not healthy . Sounds like you are run down and/or about to get sick. Maybe take a few days off and focus on drinking tons of water, eating clean, avoid caffeine/alcohol and go to bed at 9 or 10.

Maybe you woke yourself up snoring loudly - have done that in the past! Or as others say, dreaming that you're falling - happens sometimes, nothing to worry about!

Just had my saline sonogram today and they found a 2 cm polyp in my uterus that’s blocking blood flow. Bummer this wasn’t seen before. Has anyone had a polyp removed? How was recovery? I work out so I’m wondering if I’ll be able to or have restrictions. How were your transfers after polyp removal? Thanks !
