I just joined a company, I liked the work as per JD, but when I entered the team, I feel there is not much to learn and grow in that particular team. There are different teams in the department in which I am hired. Can I ask the AVP of department to shift me in another team of same department, I have joined the organization 1 week ago, shall I talk to my TL before telling AVP or should not say at all. Following up from my last post about remote being possible for our profession. Do we as HR professionals have concerns that going remote will also increase outsourcing of the remote roles to more call center environments/PEO/etc.

As I get older, I'm beginning to realize how little personal time I have since so much of my time and attention is consumed by work. Working from home has dramatically improved my life, but I have begun to feel rooted to a single corner of my home with little variety. I want to have experiences in the world that 10 days of vacation simply can't provide.

I thought I found the perfect position in March but I was let go today. I was blindsided. Never a complaint, my reviews were excellent and I got along well with the owners. My only issue was the PEO not speaking with me and going directly to the owners with her agenda. I asked ownership to work with me and I would pull the PEO in, if necessary. Apparently, they have a longstanding friendship and he does not think of them as a vendor as a friend. She suggested a on-site PEO rep and out I go!
