Could I ask for Amazon referral for Program/PM?
It’s worth a shot 😊
Anyone able to give me a referral for Facebook (Meta) or Google?
I am a paralegal with 8 years of experience in the legal industry (+ Fortune 500). I was just diagnosed with a serious health condition and I’m looking for new remote position, that is challenging and offering high pay and benefits. Facebook (Meta) & Google currently have openings for positions that align with my skills. I kind ask that you simply share some tips, if you are unable to offer a referral. THANKS!
HI folks,
My current CTC is very low with respect to my YOE. CTC : 5.2 lpa
YoE : 4
Tech stack : Python , MLops
But now my manager has initiated H1B visa for me and the visa process is in progress.
Is it worth to wait till the H1B process completes to work in U.S (74k package) (or) should i make a switch immediately. ?

I would dead set lose my mind over this 😡
Oh my mind is definitely lost. Not to mention he has so much free time on his project that he’s actually picking up other projects for extra cash with the company. Which is not included in the amount he told me. Because I asked.
There is a limited amount of these “extra projects“ for grabs, guess who has them all.
Do you know if he negotiated his salary when starting? Did you negotiate your salary?
I would straight up address this disparity with them or HR…..if nothing is done get a lawyer and sue.
Just figured I would update everyone. After a 45 minute phone call that I requested, I was able to negotiate a “possible 2% raise if approved“ and an Amazon gift card.
I mentioned the 20% discrepancy between my pay and the market average (I did not throw my coworker under the bus as I’m sure everyone wanted me to do) and I was basically told there was nothing they could do because this is the labor category they hired me under and it’s based off of the amount they get from their contract.
The 2% raise would be an increase of $39.58 a pay period before taxes, if approved.
Fun times.
