How do you break past a plateau?
I think little things like, taking a walk in nature. Sitting by a body of water. Incense, candles. A face mask. Art. getting up 30 mins early to have a cup of coffee or tea and sit and reflect on the day ahead, before you start your day.
anything that makes you stop, think, and look inward is a great start!
The beauty of wanting to be connected spiritually is it's not something that can be forced. Otherwise, we'd all be Christians. ;) Instead, it can be reframed as trial and error until you find that opening again.
Not sure how you got there in the beginning, but something you could try: Can you think of how you felt in the moment when you realized the connection was powerful for you? Grab a journal & something to write with. Find a comfy place to sit. Close your eyes and visualize the moment for several minutes. Then journal about the feeling/emotions and write down ideas of where you can find it again.
Watching animals is by far the biggest impact for me. Birds, squirrels, deer. Not even anything rare or usual (although that’s always a nice plus). Just watching them and seeing their movements and how they interact with each other and their environment reminds me that were all connected.
Looking at flowers, plants, trees is also helpful. I like trying to identify tree species. And watching the trees sway in the wind.
If you are really in a rut, psychedelics would definitely get you in touch with your spiritual side lol
Great to hear you’re in a better place!
I find light yoga or meditation connects me to my spirituality. Not sure if you’re interested in that kind of thing.
For me it’s a lot of time spent out in nature and reflecting. I speak to it too, and the universe, whatever you believe in just take some time to really connect with it. I dance, sing and meditate too to uplift myself spiritually:)
Sit in silence. Observe your ego’s desire to churn mentally and eBay’s in self talk. Let go. Meditate more. As others have said - get out in nature. Pray. Ask to feel connected. Remember who you are. You are always connected - even when it doesn’t feel so. Follow your intuition more.
