I was offered software engineer designation on the offer letter but on the workday portal it is application developer. For the companies I am interviewing have marked software engineer as designation. I asked IBM GBS HR about it and they said on the releiveing letter, it will be application developer,So will there be any issue if the designation is different from offer letter. I didn't had any promotion. IBM

Has anyone interviewed for the Program Manager 1 role at Microsoft ? If so, what was your experience like and how should I prep? Also, I see the role is listed at IC1 but I’m currently IC2 and would prefer to not go down a level. Do you think they’d be open to at least keep me at the same IC level? Thanks!
Q: for FAANG recruiters, do candidates get a reject stamp after failing even at the later stages?
I advanced to the last stage at Facebook (Meta) around a year ago but failed on my last interview, a combination of not being familiar with the process and not having chemistry with the interviewer.
A friend who is a hiring manager recently recommended me and this time without even a HR call I received a straight up thanks but no thanks email.
Does this mean I’ve been permanently black listed?

So I interviewed for a TPM role at another company. 5 rounds of interviews with different people, I got a friend there who said I crushed every one but the hiring manager wanted me to do a business case. I thought I did really well and the recruiter reviewed it prior and thought it was good too. The hiring manager never gave me feedback and just said I wasn’t a fit. From talking with the recruiter and my friend it just seemed like this guy didn’t know what he wanted. Could be the case for you as well.
