I was just placed in a PIP (performance improvement plan) understandable because I have a side business that I am running so I don’t give my “All” to my day job

My plan for the next 45 days is to put my side business in the back burner, do my best through the PIP and start applying/interviewing for jobs.

On today’s job tough market how long would it take me to find a job? 2-3 months? Any other advice on my game plan? Thank you!

Past the I took a LOA to get my drinking under control and in therapy, realized I was just as much to blame even i didn’t face the legal repercussions. I work for a tech company with 75% of the staff located in Ukraine. Most of the marketing activities have been placed on hold due to funding is now being used to relocate my colleagues in danger. Thankfully most of the staff is safe. All but 1 of my projects are on hold until further notice. I do not mean for this post to be insensitive or selfish but I’m worried for my job. My question is, should I start looking for another job?
