How do I launch an insurance agency?
Context: I just started a sales role 3 months ago State Farm. It’s my first time ever doing sales. Huge success so far, (nothing extravagant yet), but it’s only been 3 months. I’m currently selling 50+ policies a month.
I know sales isn’t everything it takes to start an Agency. Where should I try to pursue growth before starting an agency?
Follow Up Question: Is my boss hyping me up or is 50+ policies a month pretty good?

I'm sorry OP! Just know it isn't usually that easy to find another job, it's not something wrong with you. The average is 3-6 months to find a new job. My husband got laid off in November 2020 and it took him almost 6 months to find a new job. You also want it to be the right job and not just anything.
I was at PwC last year and remember them doing a bunch of layoffs in 2020 despite saying they did "no layoffs". Hopefully you got severance.
Happy to provide a referral to any open roles that interest you at KPMG.

Sorry you had to go through that. Are you exclusively looking at remote jobs only?

I was a senior associate. Can you send me a message I’m out of message request for the week. What are you hiring for on your team?
Also try reaching out to former coworkers, colleagues, and friends so that they can keep an eye out for anything from their companies that will fit you as well. From my recruiting experience, I have noticed that connection also plays a big role. You can be the best interviewee sometime, but the company would still hire someone else because that person knows of someone in the company. Also make sure to take care of your mental and physical health, especially now. It’s not easy, but treat this as a mini break or vacation, stop and smell the roses, and take it day-by-day. Sending good energy your way 🙏🏼

Thank you so much! I go to the gym every morning just to at least try to set myself up for success for the day even though I usually end up crying by the end of the day but at least I’m going to the gym. And I’m actually getting back into therapy starting tomorrow which I’m really excited about because God knows I need it. Not because of the job loss but I had family trauma I was dealing with before the job losses just made it worse
I’ll refer you if you want to work for Accenture

It will take an average of 3-6 months to find a next role. Market is relatively good in comparison to 2020. Leverage your network and professional connections. Do not take things too seriouly.. Enjoy some downtime. I am sure you will come out fine on the other end.
PwC, I’m really sorry to hear that. Remember that you have unique skills and capabilities a company needs. I’m sure you’re talented and bright. Know that, believe that and have confidence through the process. Study and testify your interview tactics. Identify areas of growth and be flexible in changing and improvement what “works”
