I was making $130k as a senior copywriter at a smaller shop in NYC but was laid off. Did this salary give me an unrealistic expectation of what I’m going to make next, either in NYC or other markets?

I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k.
