Hi recently I gave my interview with Deloitte. I cleared all the rounds and it's been waiting for approval since a month and suddenly the candidate status on job application got changed to Offer. When I reached out to HR about the same they said that all my interview process are completed and still they are pending on approval whether to go for offer.

And most of the people I message work for companies that are already purchasing from us, but there’s no business relationship. Super frustrating.

The other question is: how many of you receive unsolicited messages on LinkedIn and just ignore them?

I just took a new job and the OTE is less than agreed to after going through the comp plan. Also the recruiter told me 50% of people were hitting their quota and no one was less than 70% last year. However I found out the last 6 months everyone is less than 10%. I know get that recruiters can mislead with performance metrics but giving the wrong OTE seems super unethical to me. Hi I just started my first tech job as an AE. Salary is cool and everything around 65k a year plus commission. Was wondering if anyone has any advice to grow or find other positions with larger salaries doing well in my role and want to continue growing.

Anyone here currently work or have worked for @Gartner as an AE in Large Enterprise? I’ve had a couple of opportunities to interview over the past several years but have passed both times. Pay appears to be pretty solid from what I’ve been told and I’d eventually like to work a smaller book size and sell services instead of SaaS, as these are usually always in demand regardless of economic conditions.

Aside from the regular 9-5 job, what kind of side hustle can you recommend for extra income?

Is someone with an SVP/VP of sales title more likely to get a customer meeting than a Director of Sales? In other words, Does it a better title come with more influence, or do titles not matter?

Is it super petty of me to keep calling and generally bugging potential clients when they ghost me and refuse to respond? To be clear, this is a policy I reserve for people who get way deep into the process, let we’re about to sign contracts, and then they just vanish.
