I was recently contacted by a recruiter regarding a position in Amazon Health service. Can anyone who works there share their thoughts on that division? I've heard that earlier this year, several program managers, risk compliance managers, and billing managers were laid off, so I'm curious about the current situation. Thank you.

I was actually one of those people they laid off! The job in and itself was fine, it's just that what happened was beyond my control. I would've gone back if given the chance but I', already happy with my current company.

Sorry to hear that. I hope the new company is much better!

(Despite paying hundreds more potentially) and saving up with my SO a juicy amount for down payment?
