Hmm, no offense, but if you haven't finished 1 year working, you're very much still entry level. Hoping for the best bud.

Are you sure graduate roles are limited to fresh graduates only? People do take gap years or other random stuff before applying to their first job. Would be surprised (and rather dumb) for companies to actively restrict applicants to just one year’s cohort

Is this true? I thought the structured “campus hire” programs often want people to be in their final year of college, accepting an offer during school but only joining post graduation.

I would just bite the bullet and go for the college grad jobs. You will be little ahead of the class

If you don't mind me asking, which company offered you this opportunity?

Try applying to industry roles if you’re totally sold in staying in consulting

Guidehouse is C’s with 1 YOE. Apply there, it’ll be a title bump too.

Thanks so much for all the responses! I've been applying to 2021 campus hire roles but one was auto rejected 5min after submitting the application and I was directed to apply under experienced hire, but I don't meet the qualifications for experience hires which is why I'm conflicted atm

I’m in the same boat! I’ve found some that only require 1 YOE, but it’s so tough

Saw salesforce looking to hire recent grads. Look into it

Big Four consultants, what is your firm’s policy for this year on promotions, raises, bonuses, layoffs? At PwC there’s a freeze on raises, minimal promotions and smaller bonuses. Pay-cut for partners. No layoffs, at least in the near future.

FISH FAM! Looking for advice on late-stage startup offers:   Currently at 140k base and have two offers: - Offer 1 – Growth role: 130k base + 160k Stock Options (vesting over 4 years) - Offer 2 – Business Development role: 160k OTE (120k base + 40k uncapped commission) + 180k RSUs (vesting over 4 years)   Are these offers within the right range? And which to prefer? I like both roles but IMO, offer 2 has a better comp package, whereas offer 1 has more upside considering the stock options.

Ethical question: would you try to negotiate a raise in current job if you know you’re actively looking elsewhere? Context: had an incredibly challenging year with a huge project that completed successfully. Extremely complex tasks and long hours. Got an award for “disruption” but in summary, the role evolved and now I want to ask for market adjustment /as well as merit raise. I also hate what I do at the moment and can’t wait to leave, but might take months. Should I still ask for a raise?

Someone change my mind here with work being outsourced to India and automated - is the accounting profession about to change ? Especially public accounting ? Average Salary of 6yr experience engineer in Teksystems? Profile:- Database developer.

I received an offer from Big 4 for an SC3 role. The offer states that I will be eligible for a salary adjustment in Oct 2022. What does this mean? Is that when annual raises occur, or will they review my performance and determine if I should be promoted to manager? I have enough YOE for a manager, but the team recommends that I come in as SC3 to learn how things are done since I have no prior consulting experience.
