AAS vs FAAS what's the difference? Coming from audit so appreciate all the info. 1. What are the hours throughout the year? 2. Does the role require a lot of travel? 3. I have 2 years of audit experience. How much I can expect for base salary in NYC?
Really want to exit consulting, but all I have experience in is making PowerPoint slides for our cloud practice… Where should I look to apply? I don’t actually have any tech skills (besides the aws ccp) but I really want to leave consulting for something with better wlb.

Hey, I have applied to a job at EY for Risk assurance. My academics are pretty good and I'm pursuing ACCA with BCom, with a year of internship experience as well. I have tried to apply but I think a referral would really help. Please dm me for referrals. Would be happy to speak on linkedin as well and send my job ID as well.
Spoke to a recruiter at EY prior to interviewing about comp. Agreed on 120k base for an SA position and now 2 weeks later they come back with mentioning they need to get PM approval as well as asking if I am firm on comp. Does this even make sense? I have 4 YOE within cyber and they mentioned after initially discussing that my experience may not be enough for 120k…
Hi Fishes, I have Techno Managerial round with Pwc tomorrow for salesforce developer position. What king of questions can I expect. My YOE is 2 years.

Question for big 4 partners/Managing directors. Is becoming partner or MD a choice or if partner role is not available an employee accepts MD role? Also, are there any post retirement benefits for MD?
I don’t want to burn my bridges, but my dream agency contacted me after being at my new job for a month! I’m all for sticking it out, but this other opportunity allows for more creativity, closer to home, and most likely better pay. Anybody ever been in this position, and what did you do?
Any thoughts on Davita as an exit opp? Recruiter reached out for a Strategy / Ops role. Stalked LinkedIn and their people have similarly strange backgrounds (i.e. HYP UG in ecology, Stanford PhD, etc)
Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time. Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in? Appreciate any advice and insight, thank you.
UrbanPiper, a Bangalore based SAAS company in food tech is hiring for the following roles. Anyone looking for an opportunity can reach out to me.
Finishing up 1st year at a V100. Is it possible to switch practice groups but remain at the firm? There is a junior associate opening in a practice group I find a lot more interesting but wouldn’t even know how to consider broaching this
My 3yr old daughter was playing with 2 different sized crayons yesterday. The bigger one was mom and the smaller one baby! The imaginitive conversations that followed were the best entertainment ever!
What’s the best way to explain per diem?
Friend runs a company and hired a VP of Sales to help grow the business. Guy got some relocation $ and was supposed to start 2 months ago. Ever since he said his kid had an accident and from that point on kept pushing the start date back claiming he has to do something related to the accident. He hasn’t sent any proof to HR, has been requested twice claims he will but then doesn’t. And has pushed his start date back half a dozen times. How should I advice him to proceed?
Looking to move to EY- Currently a senior 5 years exp cyber w/Cissp....typical salary/bonus? Washington, DC

Just got an offer to work someplace else. Pay, PTO, medical and 401k seem good. What else could I try to negotiate?
This has been on my mind for a few weeks, and I have to get it off my chest: Via slack, did you PING him? Or did you PANG him? Heard someone say PANG one time and now I’m lost…
Completed first project. Client seems happy. PM provides very little positive feedback saying i need to improve on a lot. Thoughts?
Do you think sales has a better trajectory/potential than PA? I’m hearing senior salaries being 25% higher than starting salaries and exit opportunities around 40-45% higher than starting salaries after slaving for 3-4 years. Meanwhile, sales you could make the exit salary numbers in your first year (and in some cases 2x as much even with the pandemic). What are your thoughts? PA is more stable, but I didn’t join accounting to be a CAO, I did it for money—- so where is it...?
Going to Cabo in April with my husband! Looking to do more adventure travel, but also take advantage of all these Bonvoy points I have. Anyone have any recs for great properties there?
What is it like talking to an external recruiter who reached out? Is it like a normal interview or more casual? First time - help! I’m not actively looking but want to keep a good relationship in case it sounds better than I thought or for future opportunities.

What's the expected salary at Zs in Decision Analytics Consultant role in San Francisco office. What do homegrown people get at this level? And what is the bonus percentage?
With MBA starting salaries/bonuses so high, why don’t more people leave public accounting to go that route? I’m a new manager in a low to mid COL area making $68k. I figured out that the cost of the MBA program plus foregone salary for 2 years would be $211k. I’d think I could more than make up for that. I wonder about their hours and flexibility compared to ours though.
Hello, Looking for Senior Consultant/ Lead advisory role. Having 6+ experience in Information security. Certification in CISA, CISM and AWS CCP
Anyone from Minneapolis? What’s the average pay outside big 4 for someone who has 4 years of audit experience?
ELI5 - Currently work in consulting. Base pay about $250k and last few years have made a cash bonus of approx 30%. Pretty much topped out at the current career level and in the process for a jump to MD. Not expecting that to entail a massive base pay rise but will make things more interesting in terms of equity. Despite the potential promotion seriously contemplating an AWS opportunity. I know recruitment will big up the equity award and base pay is likely to be capped around the 160k mark...
I don’t think I have enough saved (80-100k) to justify a financial advisor. But I also was never taught/learned about money management and planning. Are there any good resources or books in which I could learn about how to invest in my retirement?
