"post_content": "I was referred to Deloitte by my friend and he had took 25K from me for referral...but HR didn't offered the amount I expected..\nDeloitte offered 21L including PF and gratuity.\n\nCounter offer I had was 25L including PF.\n\nTried to negotiate with HR to give atleast 23L.\n But HR didn't agreed..\n\nNow as offer was never released I am asking my friend to return what he gauranteed..and he is denying...\n\nCan anyone provide suggestion? What can be done with such frnd and how can I get back my amount?",

Bro tell him you will reveal his identity along with transaction details by tagging him on LinkedIn and took the help of some influencer like - "Pradeep Poonia Cisco LinkedIn" ( google about him rest you will get alot of information about him). Something kind this as share details of conversation, transaction etc on LinkedIn by tagging him.
First politely ask him to redund he don't and you also get the vibe that he will not then tell me just wait nd watch and do the above as I told.
Many people using LinkedIn as best medium in such cases ( like Unacademy, vedanto such educational platforms are not giving many parent's money back so that's what happening with them by their victims).

If not then pick his personal add a cc to hr at delloite attach your chat screenshots. Every company has a clause in their joining letter which they make their employees sign that they shouldn't be part of any fraud or take money. You dont have to worry, you are the victim. And if u feel like the mail has no repsonse. Then fastest way to get attention is linkedin, it will be like forest fire. Before posting just send a screenshot of what you have typed and delloite being tagged and his name and number to him. He will definitely give you the money.

Give him an official warning over email putting all facts and dates and giving him a deadline to return it back. Also mention the next steps you're going to take if he doesn't fulfill his promise by the deadline.
Next steps:
If he doesn't, reach out to Deloitte HR with whom you negotiated the offer.
If he/she isn't able to help. Go to LinkedIn and create a post on the company page tagging both the "friend" and the HR.
You shall get a response from the company to move forward.

He says it's my mistake..I have already compensated 25K and he wanted to compensate me more on the name of profile..
He took money by creating a storyline that the money is for good deed for one of the director in Deloitte. And told me to get it adjusted in joining bonus...
Now I didn't got the offer and he is not refunding my money.. I have conversation screenshots.
Shame on these ridiculous referral bonuses. Snakes on both ends if you ask me.

Bhai, it's not to shame you but what is your year of experience, I believe around 4-6, don't you know company referrals are kind of free and the employee is refered based on understanding. What you have done is wrong by giving money, and the intermediate person , the Deloitte guy in this action can easily trapped if you raise a concer in LinkedIn or any socialnetworking websites. Not sure how many are doing this kind of job search as you posted because you didn't get what you desired. Close this without much complecation as both the parties had done wrong.
Does Deloitte pay it's employees so less that hiring team have to split 25k among themselves.

It does not matter whether the package is 2L, 21L or 2C. If for a referral your friend asks anything more than a party, dear sir; that human is not a friend. Hit him when the time is right.

You should pay 25K more to him, as because of him only you applied and somehow managed to reach 25L, even if at some other company. Probably you might have used Deloitte offer to negotiate there.

Wait, did you pay him just for the referral or for some internal settings guaranteeing the job? Answer honestly.
So I believe the interviewers in the technical and management rounds are in on the scheme. They probably give extremely positive feedback, and the partner round is just a formality in most consulting firms anyway. I don’t think Partners will be involved here but the mid management definitely is.
What sort of friends do you have? I have never seen a friend asking for money for something like this. If he is asking for money for such things, he is not really your friend. Also, why on earth would you agree to do this? There are so many people available on LinkedIn who are willing to refer for free. You could have even asked for help here. I think this is all your fault that you were stupid enough to get into something like this. You should forget your 25k and move on.

@SAP 2 Hiring manager might not be involved. Only the technical interview panal might be involved since for some people clearing tech round is the hardest and if they have good recommendation in the tech rounds the HM also takes it gently. I have heard of similar cases for companies like Amazon where the referral bonus is in lacs and technical panels splits the amount.

25k is the small cost that you paid to get to know his truth. It's a good deal he might have cheated you for higher amount in future, take another offer of high amount and move on. The max that u can do right now is to expose him in front of your friend circle.
Also never pay upfront money to anyone for referral, if you had joined he would have anyhow received the referral amount from Deloitte than why did you pay him 25k
