I was talking with my director the other day about how I think the US should be implementing longer maternity leave policies and generally better parental leave policies for parents who have given birth/had a partner give birth/adopted a child, and she said it was "a crackpot idea meant to push socialist agendas." Where do I even start...The countries with better parental leave policies are MILES ahead of us.

I personally think there isn't anything you can really say to folks who think like this. Most of the time they're so set in their ways and ideals that the very thought of something that isn't on their approved list will rile them up unnecessarily. It's shocking to me how many people in this country are angry about other people getting the help they need or having the rights they want, what happened to minding the business that pays you?

I have to now deny company A of other city whose HR was advising to not deny joining once u accept the offer.
Company B is one of my dream companies & offered the highest among all 3. What should I say to the HR of A? Will they blacklist me if I don't join?

Sharks and other fishes,
I need some career advice,
In my current company I think the development portion I've been given is kinda simple, I've asked my manager and seniors to level up my work and stuff, *which they did* but I kinda caught up.. now what should I do, should I ask them to level up again or look for better opportunities
Also, I had some Interest in CyberSecurity and I grinded it on my pre-final semester at Uni, should I try on that path as well or should I stick to development?

I joined Wipro in April 2022 now the project which I got is not good there is no learning and proper guidance. Can I resigne and look for other options?
