Started at Zurich you’ll be lucky if it’s 10K

Around the same, pending performance of group and overall business unit you’re in. $10k is standard but I meant lucky to get more than that.

Adding on to that question, in general what would be the hike for a promotion to underwriter?

like

Mine was around $4k from UWA to UW. $56k to $60k.

I heard 12 percent and 16 percent from two trainees who got promoted recently. 16 is decent!

TL;DR: having trouble fitting in with the rest of the attorneys in my firm being super young compared to the rest of them. Not sure how to navigate.

Just started in June at a small firm where I’m the 7th attorney. I’m a K-JD and just passed the bar in August (🥳), making this my first real law job. The next associate is 10 years older than me. Everyone has spouses and at least one kid. All they talk about is said spouses and kids. I have none of that. Being social w/them is super hard. Help?

Tcs called me after 5-6 🤣month that they have not received assest. My FFS already done.

What is going on ?

Is it common in the industry for licensed insurance agents to not get any commissions on a referral in which you personally write the policy? Ex: If a current client refers a prospect to our team, I would not receive commission. Additionally, if I write a policy for friends/family I would get a small incentive but it’s a fraction of the commission producers make.
Management is considering changing this going forward. However, I’m not sure how I should react if they keep things how they are now.
