I have a great job offer of 160k at a great firm with 10% bonus. My current firm pays 118k with no bonus. I had a passing conversation about how we are losing people and I’m like well it’s the market. Then he made comment yea but there’s nothing we can do. It’s just coming out of partners pockets. I was feeling kinda bad for planning to quit, but after that comment, maybe I shouldn’t feel bad? The partners do what’s best for their pay then so should I?
