I will be finishing my PhD in Molecular Oncology (4y) around spring and I have started to look for a job afterwards. Right now I´m based in Spain but I will move to NY upon thesis defense (will hold all the necessary papers to work in the in the US). Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.

Any one at the Associate level willing to share their salary, location and years of experience? Are you entitled to overtime pay? I'm an Associate in NYC, 25 years exp, no overtime pay I work at least 15 hours extra every week. I really believe I have been low balled so I'm trying to understand the salary range for an Associate. It appears a lead EA who is a level down and entitled to OT makes more money. There's a senior asociate who everybody loves (he's like the class clown/cool guy/cracking jokes) like everyone adores him. He scheduled a meeting with me tomorrow to go over a project because he was my engagement manager but I have the WEIRDEST FEELING ABOUT HIM. I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this but I (25M) have a feeling a friend(23F) is hitting on me. Whenever we hang out she’ll get really close and keep touching/poking me whenever we need to turn corners, cross the block, etc because she’s the navigator. When we sit next to each other on the bench she’ll be up on my personal space up. Just a lot of shoulder to shoulder touching. I am contemplating a new offer for Validation Lead role (non- managerial) at a Big pharma, with 4 years experience -post masters degree. Suggestions on what the compensation should look like ?

I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary. I really do not prefer one company over the other. They’re both great! I’m very confused here. TIA🙏
