Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

Titles like ‘Art Director Assistant’ would be yellow flag to me as I’ve never seen that title before.
It's usually a title only used for interns or apprenticeship. So when you're hired in my country you'll be either a Jr AD or an Art Director depending on your previous experiences.
But you are right. Some agencies use this title for freelancer or for their own employees and it's a red flag for me. You can get stuck a long time doing basic work that pay nothing.
I feel like you’ll know. My red flags could be different from yours. At my last agency, I started remote and I remember thinking the first day “I think I made a mistake”. I stuck it out for a year and some change, and then went through the same process with a different agency who’s process was much much smoother. I’ve only been at the new job for about a month and it’s still early to make any assumptions, but I don’t have that initial feeling of dread like I did at my last job.
