My side hustle idea is offering a service of directly helping people get set up with a good process for their personal finances. It would include budgeting, setting up savings accounts, determining what the best vehicles/debts to put their money to are, etc. I feel like so many people could benefit from this. I don’t know if people would be willing to pay for a lower cost service like this if they’re not the kind of person that would hire a professional financial advisor

I work for a company with a pretty generous PTO policy and a mostly remote flex policy (4 days a month in office if within 75 miles of the building). One thing I’m wondering if there is a way to help us I get the “I’m taking a mental health day” call out regularly which causes a strain on the rest of the team because we were unable to prepare like we would with pre-planned PTO. Any ideas of things I can do as a manager to encourage pre-planned PTO instead of these call outs?
