Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

I’ve been cranking out expense analyses this week. After I do the first review, I send it to the PM to make final determination on things flagged as questionable. The PM I normally send them to is out on PTO starting today thru next week, so I had to send this to his backup. Backup pings me for clarification on what he’s supposed to do. The following is our conversation:
PM: Does he just do a reasonableness check on it?
Me: I go through and flag things that are out of policy. He follows up with the resources who have OOP expenses.
PM: OK....perfect....does he break their legs. Do I get to break their legs?
Me: I’m in Chicago. I gotta guy...
PM: NO, I want to do it.
Me: Congrats. You’ve just been promoted to The Enforcer.
PM: I follow up as needed....it’s the old “help ME help YOU”.
