Left MBB 2 years post Mba to pursue equivalent pay and amazing wlb in a “big old tech” strategy team (think IBM, Dell, HP). I thought boring work would be fine in the context but after 1 year it’s getting to me. What do people do when you feel really lonely? Just broke up when I thought things were going well, and moved to a new city where I don’t know anyone. Feels lonely and overwhelming. Scoping out therapists too but asking for any stop gap measures I can implement for a month or two.

Any tips for organizing a bedroom, closet, dresser & bathroom? My teen has IADHD, and low executive functioning. Her room looks like a land mine. Clean clothes are mixed in with dirty, her desk is a disaster, she won’t let go of clothes she’s outgrown, drawers are open with clothes hanging out. A therapist said to close her door if we don’t want to see it but it’s more than that. She needs this important life skill & I don’t know how to help. Easier to organize w/o her but that’s not a solution.

I was offered a new job in Internal Audit/ Consulting role at my current employer. W/ a jump in pay-grade level, 1 level (Hay Grade 16 to 17), and a 20% increase in salary ($108K to $130K) and 5% increase in potential bonus pay-out (10% to 15%). The lack of appropriate PPE affected my health in other ways. I have a latex sensitivity and we ran out of Nitrile gloves. For awhile I had to take an antihistamine to keep from having full on hives.
