Has anyone here switched between MBB firms? What’s the process like? Any advice on the best way to go about it (do I just apply as an industry hire)? I think the tax should be assessed to Deutsche Bank, as they no longer need to pay rent on as much office space with everyone working from home
Wait until states double tax your remote income.
Well there were instances for instance Massachusetts sought to tax New Hampshire residents income while they were working from home in New Hampshire rather than commuting to Boston.
That will get rejected but many higher tax and wage tax jurisdictions are going to have budget issues due to Covid and shifting work models.
NH will win, similar precedent between NJ and Philadelphia/Pennsylvania.
If you think of consulting, there is logging of location work is performed as well so a lot of precedent here.
