I work as a Business Development Manager at a sports club.. I’ve been given a couple of months “trial” in the 6 figure and above sales in which I don’t see going back to my other role on lower sales. This was a somewhat good move for me until I consider missing out on commission each month that was more than my salary. (£25k salary, over £2k per month commission)
How do I go about raising this concern? I believe I should be paid more now and at least change my job title?

Should I take a SDR/BDR role or could I cut it as an AE? 4 years in a closing role, no SAAS experience, but I do understand how close sales and work a pipeline. Also, would certs. I have my on-site tomorrow for a role that’s a great fit and I just received word that I will have an offer in hand for another company on Monday. The recruiter said they are asking for a response within 48 hrs of me getting the written offer. Quarterly bonus (per annum): 23k
130% Annual bonus = 11.5k
"23% commission on quota minus base": 37k (don't understand this)

That base salary is lower than my previous base by a significant amount by 32.7%
