I run a podcast called The Lawtrepreneur Briefing that explores what's makes a modern lawyer modern. We do this by having conversations with people driving the transformation of the legal profession.
Excerpt of the most recent conversation can be found here: https://twitter.com/lawtrepreneurco/status/1282688181419347968?s=19
I'm looking outside my network for guests for the podcast. So if any of you have thoughts about the subject, I'd love to have you on. You can apply to speak here: https://www.lawtrepreneur.co/podcastguest/

You already have the big company on the resume it seems. So, what’s the concern? Niches make riches.

Wouldn’t worry about it much. You have the big name and you can always spin it as getting some specialized knowledge later
Can I flip this and ask you a question? I am at a small global software company that does have a great culture and good work life balance to compensation ratio. However, the company is financially doing horribly and I don’t see it getting better. There have already been some layoffs, and I can see more coming. I think I got very lucky on the culture aspect but it might be wise for me to start looking at other options.
What questions do you think somebody could ask you or your team when they’re interviewing to get a good idea about your culture because it sounds like it’s not great where you are? I never know how to ask about culture without getting some phony answer.
I would ask about the size of the legal team, whether everyone is located in the same city, and how work is distributed within the team. If there isn’t much collaboration on projects, it might be an indication that folks work in a silo and there won’t be anyone to pick up your work when you’re OOO.
