I am looking forward to HR round for Macquarie Gurugram. All rounds went well except for numerical reasoning section in psychometric test. My yoe is exactly 8 years. My current CTC is 16.2 and expecting raise in current company in 2-3 months. Q1- What is the maximum I can demand in Macquarie in HR round? Initially, before interviews started, I mentioned 27LPA (negotiable). I have a past offer (not current) of 25.5 LPA. Q2 do they decline offering in case we get adamant abt high salary 27Lpa?
Do you think promotion is more a preception game rather than the output yout actually produce?
Hello all, I'm currently in final rounds with Google and TikTok, plus potentially Meta and Blackstone for similar Analyst positions in different business functions. I have 1YOE experience as an L4 BA in Amazon with incoming promotion to L5 at Q2, and was given the top performance rating (TT). There will probably be a pay bump from all offers but not sure if it will beat promo. If I am trying to optimize for the most successful life outcome - assume I get all of them - what should I do? *o*
My Dad has worked for a company in California for 20 years, he is still near minimum wage and is still a Cashier/Clerk what can I do to help him get promoted or receive a raise. Has he been discriminated against? I work for the same company for about 2 years I get paid $4 more. He deserves a raise or to become leadership. He works harder than me.
Hi fishes, I just browsed through this bowl and it seems I've replied to the HR's mail with an expected CTC way lower than the market trend. YOE - 9.1 Stack - IT/Network Current - 7.5LPA Expected - 18LPA (mentioned this in my reply to their mail along with all the docs). Should I've asked for more? Or will my current CTC hold me back? Should I drop another mail? Which designation should I go for? I can see guys getting AVP at this xp but I'm looking for B3 for ease of getting the next promotion.

Hi friends! I worked as a technical (customer) service rep at a waste management company for three years. I'm 25 and current salary is $6.7k and they just gave me 2% annual raise last year. I'm not a native speak and a big introvert so it is challenging to talk to many ppl every day. I have BS in health science(EHS) and know basic html,css and python. I had a few questions about ZS bonuses and raises. 1) I read somewhere that we get a work anniversary bonus, is it something that everyone gets, on their 1st anniversary as well? 2) Do we get the mid-year raise, every year? Promotion from Manager to SM grade - how much of a jump in compensation is it in general?
I have my annual review coming up next week. If the raise is not in line with expectations (hoping it is at least 7% to cover inflation) is it worth mentioning disappointment in the pay increase? Not sure if it is a battle that is better fought silent by looking elsewhere. TIA.

How's the promotion cycle in Deloitte USI? I have always felt it's biased. I joined DUSI in Feb 2019 as Analyst with 2.5YOE. I got promoted to consultant in 2021 (they skipped my case in 2020 as I didn't have enough "Deloitte experience". Now I have a total of 5.5YOE. I'm asking my coach to propose my case in talent review for 2023 (actual milestone year is 2024). But my coach is saying leave it to God🤣. This seems very unfair. Also, the ones who joined in 2021 with 3YOE have their milestone😁
When Wieden + Kennedy says “the work comes first”, how much more seriously do they mean that than the average elite creative agency? Like, I’m at a top-10 agency, but being a human comes first for me. Yes, I have high standards for my work, but not at the expense of my health or happiness. Is everyone at WK genuinely obsessed with their work and do they all live unhealthy, unbalanced lives? Or could someone with a pragmatic view of WLB actually do well there?
Should I say what I’d like to be paid first or ask what they’re paying or what their pay bands are first? What will end in the highest number?

Seeing someone new, think there is some serious potential, and for some reason it’s stressing me TF out. My anxiety is through the roof and overthinking is at a max.
