I work for a company that was acquired by a PE company about a year ago. They gave employees a co-investment opportunity that included A and B shares. They initially said they would do a valuation after a year and then quarterly thereafter. They have since delayed the first valuation by 3 months and switched to yearly valuation cycles. Is this a good or bad sign? What’s your experience with co-investments under EP?

Anyone buy property in South/Central America ? Considering making an investment in a unit in Panama City, Panama. Friends and I visit here and there + AirBnb seems to work well there. We have a lawyer contact and have a friend that purchased down there, but they aren’t as concerned about short term rental cash flow. Overall purchase price is low (300K) for a nice large condo in a nice area of the city. Just curious on the thoughts of others.
