In a normal situation I would choose the money and move on but looking at the current economic situation I’m afraid that it will take a very long time to find another job.
Is it worth to stay in a maybe toxic environment or is it better to leave while all is good and hopefully I can join again when the economy goes better?
*although I’m protected they may still find a way to fire ppl in a few months, but that will be very hard
Take the money and go. 5 months salary should cover you for at least 8 months, even in the current environment you should be fine with that much time. If you stay they will make your life miserable and maybe go out of their way to find a cause to fire you (with no severance).
Can you stay and use the time to job hunt?
Some kind of socialist utopia you got there !!
Take the severance and leave
It's difficult ofcourse in these times you cant see much hope with th jobs but it should definitely be better in 3 months
