I work in capital projects, 7 YOE, and am exploring going the consulting route. Is MBB worth it to target at this point in my career considering you have to case to get in? As a young undergraduate from a tier 1 college, how do I break into in the strategy consulting arms of big 4 or MBB. I am keen to work in the front end office rather than the capability centers. If all the top consulting firms made anonymous decks or gave anonymous pitches to a client, eg no branding and the client did not know which firm made which deck, do you actually think that the client would prefer MBB?  Is MBB actually coming up with better/more innovative solutions? I feel like I see many repeat or slightly altered solutions on almost all of my cases, are these really things that people at Deloitte/Accenture etc aren’t coming up with?

FAANG Exit to MBB? 3.5 YOE, Non-technical, 150k TC Been at Alphabet my entire career post-undergrad. Undergrad was a pretty general liberal arts degree and haven’t pursued grad school yet.
