Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple

Umm, I call bullshit. $35/hr or less than $75k, for 10-18 years of experience in comms? For HR comms in healthcare, I’d say it should be in the $150-200k with that experience.
Even for you, you should aim for $80-120k easily.
Compensation depends on your market, but at 6 years I’d certainly hope you’re salaried and not just hourly. $27/hr is $54k. That’s feels on the lower end of normal, but not unsightly. $70k ($35/hr) feels very low for 15 years, but I’m also looking at it from a large city market.
It’s a seller’s market right now, so don’t be afraid to cast a line and see what you come up with.
that’s so wrong, you should be getting so much more
