Have had around 2.5 years in security doing mostly automation of Detection/IR as well as Vulnerability Management/Appsec in a bank and currently at an insurance group.

Automation and web dev skills are strong, and have good tooling experience.

What can I ask for in terms of compensation in NYC?

The interviews all went well with the most senior person even talking about how excited the whole team was about you and how they felt you were a great fit for a variety of reasons. Seen a lot of “my company is so amazing posts” continuously on LinkedIn a la “here at XYZ we give people lots of time off and it’s amazing” or even “so happy XYZ company allowed me to take maternity/paternity leave” - are folks just trying to look like team players or do employees get some sort of incentive for doing this at companies? I feel like the folks I see that work at Salesforce (for example) do this constantly and more so than other big companies.
