Y’all just a quick vent - I am 10 weeks 4 days and just really f*cking tired of being tired and nauseous. What are y’all thoughts on tattoos while working in a such a client-facing career? In particular, I’m talking about a full arm sleeve. I love tattoos, but I am worried that having a full sleeve could stifle my career growth if one day my shirt sleeve gets pulled too far back and an MD/SM sees it. Am I overreacting?

*I work in the south, so the perception of tattoos [to MDs & clients] might be different than other regions

I have this partner who doesn’t enjoy working with me because I do below avg work for her but she has little choice of foot soldiers. Any clinical reporting folks on here? What type of company are you at and how are you liking it? I provide reporting services in an academic hospital medicine division at a state institution. However, they are basing the salary on a Colorado location, which is actually lower than most of their other regions. I've been offered a new role and need advice.

I'd go from VP marketing to Director sales enablement. It's a tech startup. Base stays the same at 74k cdn, but commission moves from .1% of total company rev to 1.5% plus % increases for exceeding targets. All sounds good, but I'm being pressured to answer in 24hrs. Seems odd. They also won't give me equity because of "tax complications" with it being a UK company and I'm a Canadian employee. Bonuses are supposed to make up for that. Thoughts?

I am a registered nurse with over 10 years experience in various areas, including ER. I’m transitioning to L&D. I originally sent a resume to a post w/$10k sign-on. Before giving an offer, they sent a link stating I had to complete an app. The link showed a $20k sign-on bonus. Now the offer letter arrives with $10k. I’m not being greedy but could def use the extra as I am taking a pay cut for the position. Should I press for the $20k or just sign as is?

Hi all, my current title is Motion Graphics Designer. I just finished my probation (6 months which is very uncommon). I proactively asked my manager for a review because I negotiated to have "title review" included in my contract when I got hired as they didn't want to offer Senior Motion Designer. The department head (my manager's boss) is happy with the work I delivered. How should I prepare for this title review and pay raise negotiation? Currently getting paid 88k. I am expecting 95-100k
