I worked one really hard busy season as an intern and another disaster busy season as a first year. Not to mention, I’ve been staying 9-10pm for Q1. I have zero interest in this job or CPA. Help!

If you have no desire to get your CPA, you’ve already placed a ceiling on yourself in PA. I would look for a job elsewhere

Same, already put the plan in motion 🙏 With that said, much respect to those that do this long-term.

Where do you plan to go?

I agree. If you don’t want to be a CPA you should leave by the end of your second year. No shame in it. You will get as good or better experience elsewhere.

Currently in media analytics, but want to make a career in strategy, accompanying more qualitative, content-based work. I have strategy experience, but only as an intern. Is this transition feasible?

Any good strategy/planning internship programs?

Job for fresher or internship? In JavaScript or PHP. My wife has completed Master's in Math (2019). She wants to start her career in IT. She has completed HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP (All at basic level). She has also created some small projects for learning. Does anyone has any references for internship or job as a fresher? Many companies asks to complete some assignment in some framework, like code igniter or some other. I think, as a fresher this is little bit tricky at the beginning.

I am graduating may 2022 and finishing my last internship this winter. What is a good firm for a tax associate

What's the craziest story or legend you've heard about in PA? For example, there is a legend about an intern at EY using their hands to ladle soup at a client while the CFO was standing next to them

My new intern knows nothing about Tax but seems happy to be here and eager to learn 😊

I completed my internship at Accenture and have prior internships at boutique M&A banks. I want to break into MBB for full time (I graduate 2020) - anyone willing to speak to me and offer advice/ref?

Feeling so lost and don’t know what I’m doing with my life. I’ve been in IT audit since my college intern days, it’s the only professional experience I have and I find myself hating it more & more each day. How do I switch my career without having to start completely over? 😭

Hey strategists, what’s something you would love an intern to provide you with or something they have done that made your life a little easier? (Cont.)

Recruiter reached out about a role at a company I was fired from as an intern. The role is in another department than where I originally worked. This was 3 years ago.... do I have a shot?

How many times did you intern before getting a junior role?

Hi fish! I am currently a young analyst in Consulting (1/3 of strategy work 2/3 of operations work so far) with some M&A internship. My goal is to eventually move to Corp Dev. I am enjoying my work so far so I don't wanna move if I don't need to, but, should I shift to a more finance role to be well positioned to make the jump or is it doable from Consulting? Thanks in advance

I have a intern who's been here a year longer than me, but feels it's ok to raise their voice at me, dismiss my feedback, etc. How do I best handle this when others on my team allow this to continue?

Hi there! Currently an intern. Was wondering what the intern-to-hire process looks like? Internship ends in August - does it look bad if I start applying to other places just in case? Thanks!

Moving to Chicago for a June-through-August internship. What’s the best thing I could do for 3 months of furnished living that doesn’t involve crazy prices or shacking up with strangers?

I'm trying to decide between advisory and tax for my internship next summer. Any advice on the pro's and con's of each?

Yeah you're right. It cuts after two lines instead of expanding.

Still not seeing location in the post window when turning it off.

Changed my company but it didn't update!

Has “being patient” with your career ever helped? Keep getting told this by senior leadership but I’m unclear about whether it’s actually good advice or just bs they’re telling me because they don’t want to help me advance in my career.

Is 27 too old for senior consultant? I look around and most are manager by 28. This is a serious post. I’m happy with the promotion but looking around seems like most are younger.
