I have worked at one large(top 10) and now at a smaller(200 employee) firm. I’ve gotten quick promotions at each in Outsourced Accounting to a management level. I’m working on CPA should be done in March. I’m wondering if I could get a job in B4 or if I don’t have the right kind of experience. Any insight?

I need some advise on my situation. I have 4 YOE and am currently at B4 in the Middle East making ~$70k (no tax). I’ll be getting promoted to manager in Oct (~90k). I applied for a role at a government owned company and was told the TC would be 140-155k. When I got the offer, they asked for my current salary and then only offered 127k. I’m standing firm by saying I want 147k, middle of the original range. How would you play this? Im an expat and don’t intend on being here forever.

Anyone here know about salaries (base and increase) for consultants working in mid-size firms? Seems pretty uncommon so I’d love to discuss/learn more. Also would love for any B4 people to chime in.

I’m currently applying for jobs in the Netherlands as a workforce Consultant and can’t for the life of me seem to pass the testing, mostly the abstract reasoning testing. Is there some way I can get better at this or a way I can convince recruiters to still give me an interview? I’ve worked at a big 4 in Australia previously and am at a loss as to why Dutch companies even still do this testing for experienced hires.

Typically if you’re jumping from big four to the national/ mid-tier, is there a pay raise or is the thought that you’re gonna get comparable pay for less hours? Maybe a promo jump? This is all theory crafting - FYI.
