My firm typically does insurance defense, but we take plaintiffs cases here and there. Is it typical that work done by associates on contingency cases isn’t counted toward their billable hour requirements unless and until we receive our fee on the case? This is my first experience with this, but it’s hard for me to reach my hours as is, without spending time on non billable cases like this with no assurance that I’ll see billable credit at the end.

Have you all ever had a mental roadblock making you less productive? If so how did you handle it? I've been pretty concerned about my health lately as I've been in and out of the hospital the last month. So far my tests have come back as normal and doctors are pointing it towards anxiety which is something that I'm not used to having. At times it feels like black in tech means I have to appear as a superstar so I'm not labelled by my peers as a slacker. Could be just me but it feels that way.

There are many repetitions in order numbers but they are all sorted in ascending so all the repetitions are below one another.

If i have a comment, how can i automatically paste that same comment in all the repetitions of that order numbers if i write it in the 1st instance.
