Gift him the experience of getting fitted and buying new club. DO NOT buy clubs for him.
Chief
It’s like a tie. Don’t buy them for him, give a gift certificate or take him shopping.

Eh. I agree on not doing clubs.
Tie isn’t a big deal. There’s room for many on the closet representing a range of tastes and occasions.
It’s best if he goes and gets “fitted” for the clubs. Maybe give a gift card for that?
I didn’t know getting fitted for clubs was a thing - so glad I asked! Thank you!
Just a heads up - new fitted clubs + the fitting can easily run you over 3k
YOURE A GOD DAMN GEM AND YOUR HUSBANDS LUCKY🔥🔥

I’d recommend getting him a gift certificate for custom clubs.

All of the above are correct - take him for a fitting and pay for the clubs he chooses
So, I had planned to have a gift waiting in his hotel room, and he’s going golfing. Soooo the whole fitting/gift card idea won’t work. While I have you all here, any ideas??

My SO is golf-obsessed, and I got him the Garmin Approach S-60 watch - it’s a range finder in a watch. He LOVEs it. He had previously received a hand-held range finder and lost it when he put it down and forgot to pick it up. There may be a newer model, since I got him the watch last December.

Safest bet if you really want to get clubs is a set of wedges. He can have them bent and the shafts cut and gripped. Volkeys or Cleveland. Don’t get the chrome finish.
I’d take a picture of that wedges he currently has and then get the equivalent lofts.
What’s ur budget if u don’t mind sharing

Agreed with everything about the clubs...even if he doesn't get fitted, he should at least hit the clubs first.
In terms of smaller, lower risk items: head covers, golf balls (Titleist ProV1 or equivalent), polo/hat/club head covers from whatever course he's playing at, push cart (if he walks the course typically) etc. There is a very large golf accessories industry lol.
