What advice do you have for a LLM student?
Working for Deloitte, I’m of no help to either of the companies you’ve posted in this bowl (Apple or Amazon).
I do, however, hope that you’re modifying your resumes for positions you apply and have applied for better than you’re modifying your posts in this bowl. Copy and paste and changing minor details won’t land you an interview (or an internship). You need to focus on your approach to make it more palatable for people to be willing to make those connections for you.
I agree with D1. You can’t just come to the bowl and beg for connection/interview.
No one is going to vouch for you if they don’t even know who you are.
I would start with joining student orgs that can connect you with these professionals. Or I would utilize LinkedIn (search for alums in those company/industry/positions) to try to make genuine connections. It’s not easy, I’ll tell you that, but work hard and stay hungry!
