Hello, looking into a Advisory Risk Senior Associate role at Grant Thornton. Does anyone know if you have to case interviews for this type of position?

I’m sure it’ll vary depending on the specific terms of the agreement and ethos of the fund, but generally / anecdotally what would cost you to lose a VESTED carry? E.g. what if you leave to a competitor even when respecting the gardening leave / non poaching etc? What if you are let go for underperformance (but haven’t breached any rules / done anything unethical etc). Or what if you’re let go simply due to eg the fund reducing headcount or your team?

Any Self Contained MS teachers out there. Do you have students who are more behavioral than anything else. I am struggling to provide support to some of my students because of the behaviors of others in the classroom.

Do you ever feel like you’re not allowed to vent about a bad day? I feel like we can’t just vent and chalk it up to a bad day and move on. If we are overheard saying anything than sunshine and rainbows you have to be scared of admin coming down on you - as far as written up for being unprofessional. Is it like this everywhere?!

A student I work with uses AAC but doesn’t have science terms in their device. The focus is on core vocabulary but I feel lost not teaching these terms. I wanna modify but feel lost. I could contact the speech teacher but need a short term solution

I have started putting things in place today and am finding it to be easier to get into it and follow the process with suggestions for improvements and leveled activities for the individual students. I'm struggling. My 2nd graders have so many behavior issues. My heart hurts for them. I don't know how to help them. They have no clue how to navigate a traditional classroom.

I am still teaching remotely and very worried about returning to school. My students are young students with autism and masks and distancing are not possible.

This fight has gotten real! I’ve been offered a job, advertised as remote, but they want to have a blended program with teachers on campus. Small school, 10-15 to a class... maybe, masks ( I’ll have to ask if they’re mandatory), distancing and a continuous cleaning staff. Sounds great but I’m 62 with 5 underlying conditions! Have to negotiate a contract Monday... I’m hoping I’ll be able to work on-line as NV is one of the growing hotspots in this Pandemic!
