Yesterday I felt dumb. I was working on a complex analysis and discussed my work with VP from several divisions. I was completely lost in the discussion, and the talk went over my head.

Is it strange if a husband continually tells their wife that they don’t have anything to talk to them about when the wife tries to engage in conversation. Or him stating that if he has something to say then he will talk.

When you all get off of work do you still think of work? For me once it hits 4:30/5 and Saturday/Sunday my mind fully disconnects from work. On the flip side I’m intrigued to know if anyone here can never stop thinking of work.

It’s so freaking heart-breaking to see my child (elementary age) fall sick and be absolutely miserable. He’s just this joyful, innocent, kind, energetic, and excitable bundle of love and is in so much pain and discomfort and my heart is just 😭😭😭😭😭. Grateful it’s just a fever (we hope), and I know some kids (and others) have it so much worse. Be healthy y’all ❤️

I’m addicted to getting fresh haircuts. About to get a haircut now in prep for weekend activities. Gonna get another one on Sunday since a trial starts on Monday. This will probably be the closest gap I’ve ever had between haircuts. Feel kind of guilty about it.

I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I find working early morning hours instead of late night hours to be so much better. Three of the last five business days I’ve been at my desk (in office) before 6:00 am, and honestly I’m starting to love it. I can get so much done when people aren’t here and I can still leave at 5:00 when others start leaving.

When I get deliveries, I always ask the delivery person to “just scribble” instead of a signature as it’s not good for either of us to be touching their screen. I then ask “ha how did you know what my signature looks like?” Always puts a smile on their face 🤣
