Give a vague description of this new role?

I moved from IB externally to Corp. Haven't regretted it one iota. Get excellent exposure to not only exco but also group exco. Ended up in a role outside of Corporate where I span the bank dealing with Cx level all over, all because of my initial role in Corporate (in Barclays that is).

I’m considering a similar move right now. Going from Investment Banking externally to Corporate Banking at Barclays. Wondering if you think you left a lot of money on the table? And if it’s pretty easy to break back into IB after making it to Associate on the Corporate side?

Comp may not go down as much as you think. I say go for it

Sounds beat. Show some grit and stick it out

Got through five rounds of reviews and now I think I’m being ghosted? It’s been over 2 weeks since the final talks and I’ve followed up with HR a few times only to not get a response. Is this normal? I’ve been in my current position for a long time so I feel like I’m out of the loop in terms of what a normal timeline in the current job market is. Should I give up on the position entirely and move on? Was hoping for a definitive answer before doing so (may be wishful thinking at this point)

Not sure if I should leave knowing I am on partner track and go to Amazon and work hard again to build such a strong brand there too. What do you guys think? I like and am comfortable at my current firm but money wise I’m not happy
