An Accenture recruiter just reached out via LinkedIn to discuss a Salesforce Functional Lead role they are trying to fill. He said the comp budget is up to 240k, which seems really high for this type of role. Only been at D for 4 months, contracted by BAH and offered 94k + 8k signing bonus, currently at 71k at Deloitte. The role at BAH is also much more in line with my technical skill set/interests. Currently in a full time role at an RPO but have a potential offer in house on a 6-9 month contract with strong possibility of conversion at Hubspot. Pay is $15k higher than I make now. Would it be a bad decision to take the contract / contract to hire? I don’t doubt my ability to get converted, but the entire market is seeing huge layoffs so it makes me a little nervous. Thoughts?

Question with regards to layoff talks. Are those who are being let go on the bench or being released while on projects? I haven't heard of many ACN layoffs in the former situation...
