Home sweet home

Need words of wisdom and encouragement to stay calm. Rationally I know I need to stay still for a couple of months (3-4 months), but emotionally I am not entirely happy. I am impatient; I have a goal and I want to hit it. I am competitive; I have friends who are ahead of me financially and I want to catch up. But right now I am not able to make moves. I feel stuck, even tho I know it’s just gonna be a couple of months. Sigh.

How does one get the hell out of agency production? I’m five years into this biz. Its chaotic as hell, and never stops. Anyone made the jump to client side or in house production? Was it any less chaotic?

Any and all advice is welcome. Trying to figure out my next move. 😬

Recruiter lied about interview process and job type. First interview goes well and interviewer tried to schedule me for in-person interview first thing next morning. I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?
