What kind of salary could I expect from a tech start-up with $1B valuation? 4 years experience, Tier 2 City

Hi. What is the salary for an Employee Relations Business Partner in the financial sector based out of Los Angeles? Is 140k salary a good starting point or more? I have 15 years of Employee Relations experience in the banking industry.

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

Hi all, I'm going to be transparent about my ENTIRE situation. I was released from FLDOC in 2016. I was offered a position at a local non profit. I've been there almost 6 years and am now a board member and an Executive Director. I'm being paid an hourly based salary.. Less than 40k per year. I run the entire organization alone which consists of 6 properties with over 25 tenants at capacity I also, find the houses to purchase, hire contractors, clean, collect rent, find and interview tenants!

I'm all for accelerated teacher internships... that's how I initially started. In the first Bilingual/ Spanish program- USC and LAUSD. Had to have a BA and ability to speak Spanish. They didn't accept HS graduates, veteran or not! Standards not lowered! I had to take entrance exams, state tests, and take out loans! District reneged on hiring us, newly licensed at higher salary, expanded the program and hired the new cheaper interns! Wipe-out credentialed teacher loans and increase our pay!

I recently moved out of rental townhouse after bitter experience and issues with landlord.During move-out inspection,he marked iInitial observations “that were like <50$ fixes”as house was maintained nicely by us and landlord didn’t spend even a penny in last 2 years.
Situation-When I requested my deposit refund($3k) , he sent counter letter with repairs and estimates of over $3200 .Is going to small claims court only options?
