Last year 2021, I had resigned on 9th Jul and withdrew it on 30th July with no hike just false promise of project change.

Now on 6th July, I have resigned and received the acknowledgement mail for the same.

But now when I am asking my supervisor he said my LWD is 28th Oct. He says HR has said so.

Does it mean they are counting from 30th july??

Pls help as I was expecting my LWD to be 4th Oct.

Hello! Any tips on asking for a raise in day rate??

I’m working at an agency, that just extended my contract. There’s been a bit of role shift - with members of the team leaving and the entire social team handing their notice in. I’ve been on a day rate that’s a little higher for other projects but I essentially want to ask for another £100 a day.

Would love any tips as I’ve usually gone into companies that give me my asking rate but it’s time for a change!

I told him it was covered by NDA and he was like “it’s ok just tell me the Region and industry, you don’t have to tell me what you did or who it was.” I told him and he was able to guess a few of my clients. Any thoughts on how to correct a client who consistently misuses a team member’s name? There’s a race/gender dynamic: client is 50s white male, team member is 20s Asian female. Let’s say her name is Jinmin Lee; client uses “Lee” as her first name. I’ve tried to correct it in a way that leaves room for a genuine misunderstanding (HIM: I need Lee’s info; ME: yes, I’ll send Jinmin’s info), but it’s happening repeatedly. I want her to be respected, but feels like I can’t directly call it out?!
