Would you try to negotiate price change after signing a P&S given the following facts? The home had a pipe burst in November 2021. The pipe is fixed. Damaged area is down to the studs. The home itself is over 130 years old. When we signed the P&S the market was still hot, so we couldn’t negotiate a home inspection. However, we are getting the home for well below pre-pipe burst asking price. This past week we visited and noticed the water was not on. We don’t know for how long it’s been off.

My ASM is lazy and is incapable of doing the easiest basic tasks with recruitment. She receives all my end of day updates, is cc’d on all emails, makes me fill out 5 repetitive excel/smart sheet, and joins all my meetings but she still wants to call having me 5x daily about updates. Just cleared $300k selling my primary residence and will move back into a house we used as a rental. Looking for investment recommendations with the $300k. Always been a fan of FIRE and reading about it has definitely helped my finances but I can’t help but wonder if the movement is more about lifestyle change than early retirement.

After you achieve FI,you basically have to maintain the lifestyle that got you there.

What if you want to go on a lavish vacation or buy that flatscreen TV? Are you supposed to do away with material goods entirely? I suppose you could keep working for discretionary $ and live off interest but then you’re not retired.

Hi in process of buying a house. Trying to negotiate a buyer rebate with a realtor - we will be moving from outside of town so need full service, (video tours, actual advice etc) - do most realtors work with rebates? Is 0.5 or 1% good?

Bought a SFH where I’d barely break even given the realtors estimate of 1.1k rent. Neighbor kindly let me know going rate was actually 1.6k. Put it up for 1.5k to get a nicer long term tenant and signed in 2 weeks. First investment property and learned a lot from here/bigger pockets so feeling pretty good!
